Here are some reasons why you might want to contact me:
You want to send me some music.
Recommendations are always welcome, as are submissions from bands, labels, and PR people. I can't promise I'll listen to everything I'm sent, but you can improve your album's chances by a) including a download link so that I can listen to it on the train, b) describing your songs as 'verbose', 'emotional', and/or 'ABBA-esque', and c) telling me how much you love the blog.
Please note that I almost never write about albums that haven't been released yet - by all means send me your forthcoming LP, but please bear in mind that I probably won't mention it on the blog until people can actually go and buy it.
You want to write a guest blog post.
If you'd like to write a blog post about your favourite album, I'd love to hear from you. I don't really have any guidelines - just pick an album that moves you and write as much or as little as you want. Feel free to include links to your blog/website/social media accounts if you so desire.
Businesses are a bit different; I'll generally only link to music-related businesses I use and endorse (e.g. local record shops and gig venues), but feel free to drop me an email anyway and I'll see what I think.
You want me to write something for you.
Gosh, how flattering! I often have my hands full, writing-wise (I update The Album Wall three times a week on top of a full-time job that itself involves quite a lot of writing) but please do get in touch anyway - I'd love to know what you have in mind.
You have really good music taste !! You're really cool as well
